NATA 2020

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

NATA / JEE -2 are the Entrance Exams after 12th or Diploma, and these exams are mandatory to join Architecture (B.Arch) 5 years Program.

Students should have attended either one of the above Entrance Exam to be Eligible for admission to U.G Architecture Program in India.

NATA EXAMS 2020 ELIGIBILITY

  • Candidates should have qualified 10+2 OR equivalent from a recognized Board/University with General Mathematics as a subject of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks

    OR

    Candidates should have qualified 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

QUESTION PAPER CONSIST OF TWO PARTS

  • Drawing Test – 80 marks
  • Duration of test – 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Aesthetic Sensitivity Test – 120 marks(Aptitude 80 marks + Maths 40 marks)
  • Duration of test – 1 hour 30 minutes

  • The exam will be of 3 hrs. One has to clear the NATA eligibility criteria before applying. The test is divided into 2 sections.

JEE MAIN PAPER 2

JEE MAIN PAPER 2 is conducted to B.Arch /B.Planning courses at IIT, NIIT, SPA, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. Pen and Paper Test conducted throughout India. Candidates who secured 50% aggregate marks in 12th in 5 subjects as well as passed individually in Maths were eligible to appear in the exam.

    QUESTION PAPER PATTERN:
  • APTITUDE – 4×50=200 marks
  • MATHS – 4×30=120 marks
  • DRAWING – 2×35=70 marks
